Symphonie Nr. 5

»Mit der Veröffentlichung der 5. Symphonie auf CD hat Markus Poschner nun seinen Bruckner-Zyklus, der sämtliche Symphonien des Komponisten in allen verfügbaren Fassungen enthält, fortgesetzt. Im Gegensatz zu manchen anderen seiner Werke hat Bruckner seine 5. Symphonie nie überarbeitet. Insofern ist die hier vorliegende Fassung die einzige, die aus der Feder des Komponisten überliefert ist. Und dieser Symphonie scheint die ganze Liebe des Dirigenten zu gehören.

Was Poschner und das hervorragend disponierte ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra aus der Partitur herausholen, ist ein absolutes Glanzstück. Tief tauchen Dirigent und Orchester in den fein gewobenen Klangteppich ein, den sie vom ersten bis zum letzten Takt mit größter Meisterschaft zum Klingen bringen. Bei Poschner dürfte es sich um den besten Bruckner-Dirigenten der Gegenwart handeln. Seine Auffassung von Bruckners 5. Symphonie ist von großer Tiefe und Eleganz geprägt. Gleichzeitig mutet seine Darbietung recht transparent an. Die von ihm angeschlagenen Tempi sind nicht zu langsam und wirken recht ausgewogen. Die einleitenden Pizzicati der Kontrabässe sind zwar extrem leise und praktisch nicht hörbar. Aber bereits ab dem anschließenden Motiv der Streicher, das er sehr choralartig auffasst, läuft Poschner zu ganz großer Form auf. Sehr feierlich lotet er das anschließende Blechbläser-Motiv aus. Einfach grandios gelingt ihm die fulminante, in ein herrliches A-Dur mündende Steigerung, die zum Höhepunkt der Introduktion hinführt.

Ungemein emotional und tiefgründig lotet er das nun folgende Adagio aus, wobei seine ganze Aufmerksamkeit der klagenden Oboe gehört, die er gekonnt herausstellt. Sehr wirkungsvoll interpretiert er die markanten Sept-Sprünge. Das Scherzo nimmt Poschner recht flott, wobei er den fein intonierenden Holzbläsern seine ganze Aufmerksamkeit schenkt. Einen überzeugenden Kontrapunkt setzt er mit dem eindringlich dirigierten Ländler. Den abschließenden Final-Satz breitet er mit großer Feierlichkeit und enormem Glanz vor den Ohren des begeisterten Zuhörers aus. Bei all dem verliert Poschner an keiner Stelle den großen musikalischen Zusammenhang aus den Augen.

Hier haben wir es mit einer ausgezeichneten Aufnahme zu tun, die sich die beste Bewertung verdient hat.«
